Celebration of the May 1st International Labor Day and the Provincial May 1st Labor Award and Worker Pioneer Commendation Meeting of Jiangxi Province was held in Nanchang on April 29, 2019 to commend a number of advanced collectives and individuals. Mei Huawen, Deputy Director of Jiangxi Netis Systems Co., Ltd. won the May 1st Labor Medal of Jiangxi Province in 2019 for his hard work in the construction of Netis projects, workshop furnishing, equipment installation, relocation and production, operation and management, and made outstanding contributions to the smooth production of Netis and the revitalization of Pingxiang electronic information industry.

In January 2017, Mei Huawen, the Deputy Technical Director of the Company and an expert in the electronic manufacturing industry, one of the members of the preliminary work team of Netis, took on the responsibilities to participate in the project planning, equipment selection, capacity arrangement and construction of the Jiangxi Netis, becoming the pioneer of Netis.
After his arrival at Pingxiang, Jiangxi Province, Mei Huawen visited every corner of the construction site, checked every detail of the construction drawings, and listed every construction link and shift schedule from the ground breaking to the capping of the factory building. In terms of workshop furnishing, he visited the site to continuously optimize the design, supervised the construction site during the day and draw CAD drawings on the computer at night. To save investment, he extensively solicited opinions from friends in the industry on equipment selection to find the best cost-effective equipment; to save time, after the main building was basically completed, he improved the design, furnishing and construction, and meanwhile recruited a large number of workers. He completed a large amount of work in the shortest time for the overall relocation of Guangdong factory to Pingxiang.

To ensure project quality, he kept a close eye on the site day and night; to complete the project for production as soon as possible, he overcame the difficulties of being without families around, suppressed the urge to return to his hometown Jiujiang at any time, and stuck to his post. He worked on the construction site until the Spring Festival, he hurried back to the construction site in Pingxiang for work after a short gathering with his family for three days. The work of a pioneer was hard and arduous. Given the shortage of manpower, Mei Huawen could only work hard day and night in exchange for time. In the early four months, he worn out two pairs of shoes; took instant noodles as one of the essential food, and regarded it as a good product for weight loss; when there was no water to drink due to low water pressure, he put up with it and started work the next morning.
After continuous efforts, the production line and equipment installation and commissioning of factory finally started in March 2018. The hard work in the early stage consolidated the cornerstone and laid a solid foundation for the project.

Whether Netis could be put into production smoothly depended on the solving of many problems and difficulties, when the civil engineering project was still in progress, the furnishing work is at the peak, the equipment had entered the site waiting for installation, the recruitment of employees was in full swing, the requirement for training and living facilities were imminent, the power and communication required necessary conditions, and the relocation date was approaching. As the person in charge of production technology, Mei Huawen shouldered the heavy burden to comprehensively supervise both the plan and implementation. There are more ways than difficulties. Under the strong support of the local government and the new energy industry office, he clarified the problems and solve them one by one, and effectively overcame all difficulties.

In terms of power and communication, Mei Huawen actively sought coordination with the power supply company to ensure proper installation of lines for power supply before trial production; internally, he repeatedly calculated the equipment capacity and power supply load, adjusted the cable direction and length, checked the electrical circuit drawings for several consecutive days and nights, and repeatedly communicated with the design institute on existing problems to ensure the quality and safety of power supply.

In terms of employee recruitment, he investigated and studied the local labor supply and demand, visited different job fairs and township recruitment points to publicize and distribute leaflets, and interviewed relevant management and technical personnel in person for talent reservation of the factory.

In terms of employee life, he overcame difficulties in the early stage to build a temporary canteen and employee dormitories to ensure the board and lodging and accommodation of employees during the training and trial production, which guaranteed the production.

In terms of production line installation, Mei Huawen made overall planning, adhered to the front line with the installation team to keep the progress on the premise of ensuring the installation quality, and provided reliable hardware facilities for production.

It was the pioneer work style and hard-working spirit of Mei Huawen and cooperation of all members of Netis that achieved the successful relocation of Guangdong factory to Pingxiang and smooth production of the factory.

Netis settled down in Pingxiang as an electronic information product manufacturing enterprise and started production smoothly. However, it experienced tortuous development.
On the morning of March 19, 2018, a large number of new employees came to the factory to register for work. A local young man did not listen to the security, resulting a a conflict between the two sides. Mei Huawen, who was greeting the new at the gate, immediately came forward to dissuade him. Unexpectedly, he was confronted with fists. Even though besieged by many young men, he did not flinch, and tried to mediate with pain to prevent the situation from expanding until he called the police.
On the afternoon of May 15, 2018, a fire broke out at the construction waste dump in the park, with thick smoke billowing. Mei Huawen was the first to run to the fire point after finding it and organized personnel to put it out.
On the afternoon of July 31, 2018, Wanxin No. 1 power supply line was struck by lightning, resulting in a power outage in the whole factory. Mei Huawen contacted the power supply company at the first time and went to the point of strike to check the maintenance progress. When he returned to the factory at two o’clock in the morning, he was already drenched by rain. On the afternoon of September 2, 2018, the power supply line of Wanxin No. 1 was cut off by the construction company. The power supply company sent personnel to deal with the accident on site. Mei Huawen and the electrician stayed at the accident site all night until production was arranged immediately after power on.
On December 12, 2018, Mei Huawen found that Xiao Haiming, an employee, was unwell during his inspection tour in the workshop, and immediately decided to send him to the hospital. When he learned that the hospital diagnosed a sudden myocardial infarction and an operation deposit was required, he did not hesitate to transfer it to the employees accompanying Xiao Haiming via Wechat. After timely rescue, the employee Xiao Haiming was out of danger.

It is not a high reward or heroism that drove him to rush ahead toward emergencies and dangers, but his strong sense of responsibility and consideration of the overall situation and dedication to the factory. As he said, he is responsible for production safety, and everything is his job. He should treat the factory as a family, and the employees as his family members, and only by eliminating hidden dangers against time can he guarantee the safety of the family.

Now, a modern factory stands in Zhoujiang Electronic Information Industrial Park of Pingxiang Economic Development Zone. After more than one year of construction, Netis starts a new point to build the brand Netis. Mei Huawen is responsible for the operation and management, including providing technical guidance for the factory and external communication and coordination.

From May 2018 to now, Netis has accepted more than 5,000 visits, guidance and observation from leaders, partners and customers. Mei Huawen has participated in the reception and introduction for many times to promote the brand Netis and attract business for Pingxiang. He often said that to settle down in Pingxiang, Netis should adapt to the local environment, rely on the leadership and support of the Party Committee, the government and the local people, and live up to the expectations of the leaders and the people. As Jiangxi people, we should contribute to the economic development and industrial transformation and upgrading of Pingxiang. Only in this way can the pay be valuable.

With joint efforts of everyone, in 2018, , Netis completed an output value of RMB750 million in only 8 months of production time, achieving a tax amount of RMB10.8 million, a profit of RMB12 million and employment of 1,100 persons. The construction was completed, the production started and benefits were realized in the same year, which was known as “creating the Shenzhen speed in Pingxiang”. It is inseparable from Mei Huawen’s insistence on “root deep in the green mountains to withstand all season changes”, the concept of “creating a brand of the times by focusing on quality”, and the efforts of all employees who have selflessly contributed to the company without any complaint. Mei Huawen is just a microcosm of everyone, who has seen the great changes in the two years.

The justice is in the hearts of the people, and the effort will be rewarded. On August 30, 2018, Shenzhen Netcore Group announced to praise Mei Huawen, and encourage everyone to learn from his spirit of obedience, hard work and integrity. In August 2018, the CPC Pingxiang Municipal Committee and the municipal government awarded Mei Huawen the honored title of Outstanding Individual for 2017-2018 who has brought “changes every year and major changes in three year to the city”. In April 2019, Jiangxi Federation of Trade Unions awarded Mei Huawen the Jiangxi May 1st Labor Medal. The work career of Mei Huawen who witnessed the changes of Pingxiang factory interpreted true that “bitter cold adds keen fragrance to plum blossom, spring seeding yields luscious fruits in autumn”.
